John is serving his first term as President. 

Bobby is serving his first term as Executive Vice-President.

Paul is serving his fourth term as Director of Industrial Relations.  He also represents Englewood MPC, Adams City and Castle Rock. 

Mark is serving his seccond term as Assistant Director of Industrial Relations.

Brian was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1964.  He grew up in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area.  He graduated high school in 1982 and served in the United States Air Force from 1984 to 1988.   He has two sons, 21 and 18 years old named Dustin and Cody.  Brian has been with the USPS and APWU for 20 years and is currently serving his third term as the Clerk Craft Director for the Denver Metro APWU.  His hobbies include fishing, collector cars and playing the drums. 

Dave is serving his first term as Assistant Clerk Craft Director.

Miguel is serving as the Maintenance Director for the second time.  He is married to a beautiful lady named Yolanda and they have two very active sons.  Miguel also serves as a Safety Rep for the DMAL.  

Robert is serving his second term as MVS Director.  

Phil is serving his second term as Human Relations Director. He also represents the following offices:   Erie, Frederick, Ft. Lupton, Lafayette, Westminster Main and Harris Park.

Dave is serving his first term as Recording Secretary.  He is a former three term Maintenance Craft Director and has been a union activist for sixteen years . He has thirty two years in the Postal Service, ten years as a clerk and twenty-two years as an electronics technician.

Tina is the Political Director for the Denver Metro Area Local. She also serves as a Quadrant Coordinator representing the following offices: Boulder Flatirons, Boulder Hi Mar, Evergreen Main and Carrier Annex, Greeley Downtown, and Main, Lyons, Mead, and Nederland.

Joe is serving the Denver Metro Area Local as a Quadrant Coordinator.  He represents the following offices: Arvada Indian Tree, Brighton, Broomfield Eagleview, Broomfield Main, Evans, and Wheatridge.

Chris represents Capitol Hill Annex, Capitol Hill Station, Edgewater, Montbello, Montclair, Park Hill and Rocky Mountain.

Ron represents Cherry Creek, Downtown, Glendale, Merchant, Mile High, South Denver Annex, South Denver Station, Sullivan, University Park and Wellshire.

Muriel Ponder joined the Postal Service in 2004 and became a steward at the GMF for maintenance craft employees the same year.  Muriel and her husband Jerry have been married since 1973.  She has 3 wonderful grandsons.  Muriel believes strongly in the power of unions to change the lives of all workers.  She also believes in our ablility to create political change!

Rita has been employed with the Denver Metro Area Local for 25 years.   Rita has been married to Tim, a retired USPS MVS employee, for 37 years.  They have two children, Jami 30 and John 29 and three beautiful granddaughters, Kayla (11) , Madison (6) and Ella (3).  She is the Secretary-Treasurer for OPEIU Local #5 and has held this position for the past seven years.  She has also held positions as President of the DMAL Auxiliary and was a member of the Supervisory Committe for the Denver Postal Credit Union, now Eagle Legacy.

Jean has lived in Colorado since 1977 and has been employed with the Denver Metro Area Local since 1995.  She has been married to Mike for 34 years, and he is employed with Robinson Dairy.  Jean and Mike have 3 wonderful sons, Jason 31, Steven 30, and Jim 29.   She has served as member at large for the OPEIU Local #5 Executive Board and is currently serving as a Trustee.  Her hobbies include any kind of fishing, horses, and going on vacation...is that a hobby?
