The Denver Metro APWU’s new local telephone system is now installed and operating. All former telephone numbers remain the same. The office number is 303-365-1524, the TTY is 303-365-0307, and the fax number is 303-365-0096. Our “hotline” number remains 303-365-0094. The new system is very similar to the old system, so most members should have no problems using it. The system has an alphabetical directory based upon first names that will allow extensions to be looked up by pressing numbers on your telephone key pads. This directory may be accessed by pressing “*2” when you call the office.

 

Our new telephone system modernizes our capabilities while reducing monthly costs by about a third. Many thanks go to Executive Vice-President Gary Scott who spearheaded this project. Through Gary’s efforts, we were able to effectuate the transition with virtually no disruption to our telephone service and benefit our members by saving thousands of dollars per year.

In the process of installing the new telephone system, a few extension numbers have been changed for technical reasons. Most extensions remain the same. For your reference, here is a list of all local extension numbers.
